I have no evidence as to which company this belongs to. West Side Lumber Co. or Pickering or its heirs. It probably doesn't matter much. Its quite clear what the drawing is for. Cab guards for the log trucks and a carrier for the rear axle reach to rest on when the truck is empty. I would have thought that by 1954 they would be buying purpose built trucks which would have such equipment on them. But maybe not. I don't have any idea what the second page is in this file.
(Rutty description) Notes (Joe Piazza) - This set up is similar to those used on the West Side Peterbilt Model 380's. The base cab guard unit was manufactured by the Reliance Trailer Company. This drawing might indicate the shop modifications to add angle iron to West Side's specifications.
