non-scale drawing showing general timber unit estimates (including but not limited to) Two Mile Creek, Lost Creek, Jawbone and Reed Creek Units (Kauppi description) A unscaled map covering the area from the North Fork of the Tuolumne River to Cherry Creek and from Trout Creek south to Femmon Meadow area. The map depicts the planned railroad system to access the timber and the camps needed to supply the men to log the trees. It also shows where significant trestles would probably be needed. It shows River Bridge, Camp 8 then Camp 9. Next is Deadwood, then Camp 21 at the beginning of Hull Creek. Camp 24 is on the other side of Hull Creek, before Two Mile Creek. Camp 26 is on a planned spur following the Clavey River. Camp 27 is across the Clavey River and on the ridge between the river and & Creek. Camp 36 is just short of 76 Creek. There is a trestle planned at Bourland. Camp 36 and Camp Niagara are at Niagara Creek. Camp 36 is on the ridge and Camp Niagara is closer to the Creek. After crossing the trestle on Niagara Creek a short way beyond there is a fork in the tracks. The northern tracks curve around to Jawbone Creek. About halfway around Camp 40 is above the tracks.. The tracks cross Jawbone Creek then they head south along the east side of the Creek. Camp 43 is located on a tributary and Camp 44 is located in Cherry River. Camp 45 is located at the end of the other railroad spur along Reed Creek.
