A 3.5" x 5.5" Color postcard of the Interior of St. Anne's Catholic Church, Columbia, CA. Thought to be the first brick church In California. Started in 1852, completed 1856. Interior painting is the work of James Fallon, son of a pioneer. Father Slatherly a leader in the work was the first priest. Mark Twain-Bret Harte trail in Columbia State Park., Toul Co., California is on bottom of postcard. The postcard was taken from an unknown student's term paper. Type: Paper-Post Card
