Neg only (Ferington description)
There should be one negative per file. There are eight here. So I am splitting these up and making eight files. This file depicts the upper end of the Jamestown Yard. I think the track is the mainline to Sonora and beyond. On the track to the far left we can see what is left of locomotive no 18. I assume it was hauled off for scap at some point. We then have a caboose connected with another crew carrier (caboose). Both appear to be in fair condition. We next have a caboose, a side dump gravel car and a flat car. I would call the caboose in fair condition and the other two kinda rough. On a siding there is a tank car. I asssume it to be a oil car, and to be in fair shape. .In front of the tank car are three orfour old passenger cars (short versions) being used for offices or warehouses of some sort. There are three vintages of cars represented. I assume they are not on tracks but they might be. I can't tell if the wheelsets were pulled. Again the day is heavily overcast as are the others in this group (Rutty description)
