This photo the bridge tender's shack at River Bridge. River Bridge (North Fork Tuolumne River Crossing) is in the background.
A siding can be noted in the foreground, the trains would stop here and cool their brakes before proceding down hill to the mill at Tuolumne.
I don't remember any tie to the High Noon movie. It may be this was taken as potential movie site but was never used.
