Description

Jamestown Roundhouse Neg only (Ferington description) There were several (seven or eight) negatives not just one. Each will be given its own file. The photo shows a storage area with trackage where old cars of all types are usually kept. This is an area behind the Sierra Railway Roundhouse. and above thecovered storage areas. The nearest track has the Sierra RR passenger car #3. I cannot read a number on the baggage style coach behind passenger #3, but the combination car ahead of that one is nuimber 7. That's the car with the cupola. The gravel car is a MOW car. I can't read a number but it is labeled SRR. The next one forward is the car 326 which I think is a MOW car. The last car looks like it carried passengers and appears to be labeled Sacramento Valley. The other cars were on an outside track. The Sacramento Valley car is under one of the roofed tracks (Rutty description) Type: still camera Color: no
