Jamestown Roundhouse
Neg only (Ferington description)
There were several (seven or eight) negatives not just one. Each will be given its own file.
This photo shows the back side of the roundhouse, where all the doors are for receiving the engines. In this photo all the doors are closed. In the foreground, second track over, is a small unpowered handcart, consisting of four wheels and some planks on a metal frame to give it strength. It is used to move items around the yard. Several tracks over, an ancient track laying gas or diesel powered, hoist is mounted on a flat car in what appears to be semi permanent fashion.
