Cooperstown, negative only. (Ferington description)
This is the third of three photos in this group. We are looking at Cooperstown on the Sierra RR. The road is Green Springs Road . A large open barn sits between the rail road and the Green springs Rd. There is a loading ramp near the tracks. A second open barn or shed is a little to the west. I can see a barren area to the south west a short distance. It is possible that someone has been mining clay, storing it in the shed during wet weather and loading railcars here at Cooperstown. The turning wye for turning locomotives around can be seen just behind the fencing. The far leg has a cut of ore cars parked on it. (Rutty description)
