118-C Pioneer Saloon Columbia, 1929. Leonard Ruoff - "Charlie" St. Charles Saloon. Building behind was owned by the University of the Pacific and was used when they were using the Fallon Theater. Dr. Burns, president of UOP, came in after Tulley Knowles. Burns rode a white horse when he lived in Stockton, would ride it to work. There were wheat fields around the college.Collection
