elevation and sectional blueprint of WSLC box factory
Plans for West Side Lumber Co. buildings.
Box Factory plans (blueprints) and other buildings.
1912 (Kauppi description)
This blueprint has no title per se. If I were to give it one it would be Box Factory and Associated Buildings. (Buildings 26, 27, 28 & 29.)
Building 26 is the Box Factory. It was to have a three inch by twelve inch plank flooring.. Building No. 27 is the boiler and engine room for the Box Factory. It has a 2 inch plank floor on one side and no floor on the other side. Building 28 had a two by twelve inch plank floor. I think this is the loading platform from the box factory to the Sierra Railcars. Building 29 looks to have had a 1 3/4 10 to 12 inch plank floor. This has got to be the shook house.which is where they cut the planks down to pieces to fit into the boxes that will be built at the box factory.
