According to "A Railroad Transplant, The Sierra Railway Company of California" by Richard Rosenquist the coach pictured here would have to be #3, AKA the Stanislaus, Number 2 was sold in 1925, and all the others were converted to combination service (passenger/baggage/mail service). This picture is of the interior of this car.showing the seating arrangement and comfort (no hard wooden benches). Note the fine wood work and the convenient overhead storage for your carry-on luggage.Collection
