Description

Girl and boy, not identified. Bacigalupi family Album #4. Circa 1860 - 1910. the children are standing together next to a blanket covers stand, the boy is dressed in a two piece with the jumper buttoned into the trousers at the waist at a v-shaped beltline, the blouse (jumper) buttons center front with long sleeves ending in white cuffs and a white collar with a loose ribbon scarf, the trousers are pleated into the waistband and elbows the knees in a cuff, he has white leggings or stockings, high top boots- it is unclear if they lace or button, his hair is trimmed short. The girl has her arm locked into his, she is pictured wearing a 3/4 sleeve jacket over a matching dark skirt, the skirt ends below the knee, has decorative tucks above the hem, the jacket is held with a light colored belt, no collar, a light colored or white blouse with self tie at the throat, white leggings and high topped boots, her hair is center parted and drawn back to the crown in wings ending in curls.
