Vega, a young orca whale, lives with her pod in the Salish Sea. When a double tragedy strikes her family and Vega and her little brother Deneb are separated from everyone they love, it's up to Vega to keep Deneb safe. Their journey is full of peril and wonder, and Vega and Deneb encounter a giant octopus, strange killer whales, and packs of hunting sharks as they travel into the blue wilderness of the deep ocean. Will Vega be able to protect her brother and find her way home? Will her beloved sea ever be the same again?
