Description

USS ALVIN C. COCKRELL (DE-366) underway in 1951 or 1952 in the San Diego area. She has largely retained most of her WWII equipment and weaponry. Handwritten inscription in ink on original negative envelope reads: "ALVIN C. COCKRELL DE 366 // 1951/52." Ink stamp on envelope reads: "TED STONE // PHOTOGRAPHY."
