This program was published for the one year anniversary of SLATER's commissioning. At 7:30pm on May 29, 1945, the crew celebrated with a dance at the Hendrick Hudson Room of Hotel Roosevelt in New York City. There were prizes for a jitterbug and waltz contest, and there was singing. Officer and crew roster included.
