Description

A small oval-shaped wood mask depicting a monkey with a black face. Inset green glass eyes are encircled with white. Two cutout eyeholes for the wearer are above the eyes. A protruding white-nose has indented nostrils and an apple-red mouth. A copper wire is attached to the back of the mask. There are some signs of paint loss.
