A long diamond face-shaped wood mask depicting a man with an umber brown complexion and plum purple accents on cheeks, nose, and forehead. The mask has vertically incised black hair that leads into curled sideburns. The hair is decorated with two dark green birds that connect beaks. There are two inset brown glass eyes with black eyelashes and black shading around the eyes. The cutout eyeholes for the wearer are under black eyebrows. The mouth is parted with dark red lips and white teeth. A parted black mustache is under a thin, hooked nose. A copper wire and string are attached to the back of the mask. The mask is in excellent condition despite some lost paint on the tip of the nose.Context
