A life-sized square-shaped wood mask depicting a figure with a scarlet-red complexion. The hair is black and has two protruding black horns. The black eyes are painted into white semi-circles and outlined with white, painted lashes. Two cutout eyeholes for the wearer are under black eyebrows. A hooked nose is above a black parted mustache. The mouth is open and showing shaded white teeth. A wire is attached to the back of the mask. Signs of paint loss, dark residue over the mask, and a concentrated spot of paint loss on the right underside of the chin.Context
