A large black and white intaglio print on deckle edged paper. Inside the impression of the central plate is a pair of women's portraits: the one on the left is shrouded in a burka, with her arms crossed and hands clutching her shoulders; the one on the right is wearing only a bra and has a tattoo of a knife through a heart on the left side of her chest. She otherwise has short hair, many piercings, vertical stripes going across her eyes, and is smoking a cigarette she holds in her left hand, with her arms crossed. Both women are stylized with large heads and features and very large, bony hands. They are encompassed in a pair of stylized arches/alcoves.Context
