This particular metal suitcase was used to carry tools in an open truck in the 1920s by James Patrick Brown. Brown was a New England Telephone & Telegraph Co. cable splicer from 1916 - 1959. He was stationed in St. Johnsbury, VT for most of that time. These notes were written and contributed, along with the metal suitcase, by Elizabeth H. Brown, James Patrick Brown's wife.Cataloged By
