Description

White leather and red velvet apron with braided ties and tassels at ends. Painted emblem of the degree: extended compasses surmounted by a crown over a quadrant with INRI painted therein. In the center is a pelican tearing open its crop to feed its young (representing sacrifice and charity). A red cross decorated with a rose rises in the background, surrounded by rays of glory.

Use

The ceremonial apron was worn by officers of the Rose Croix chapter (18th degree), Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite (USA)
