Description

Appears to be a class pin. In Scottish Rite Freemasonry, a class refers to a group of Freemasons who went through the Scottish Rite system of degrees, and consecrated a 32nd Degree Freemason. At the center, there is a 32 inlaid into a black triangle. On the bottom adjacent sides, the year "1905" is read. This is intertwined with the Jerusalem cross. The Cross has the letters "A" "A" "S" "R" inscribed, which stands for the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite. The borders of the pin appear to be Scottish Thistle with a bow tie on top.

Membership pins are not a requirement, but are often worn to identify a member's status or degree. They vary in size, shape, etc., but often the symbols are uniform with the regulations of each respective membership status.
