Description

Thirty-third-degree jewel: a nine-pointed star with the letters spelling "Sapentia" surrounding it. Within is an oroborous encircling double-headed eagle with the motto: "Ordo ab Chao and Deus Meumque Jus." Beneath the star are two crossed swords, one bearing the sign of benediction atop. All surmounting a red enameled Teutonic cross with pillars within the arms. On the reverse, there is an inscription: "Presented to Ill. George A. Rowell, 33, by Aurora Grata Consistory, AASR, NMJ. October 6, 1893." Suspended from a white grosgrain ribbon.
