Description

Covered basket made in the Abenaki tradition. It has slightly flared sides and a deep lid. A row of cowis (3 dimensional woven curls) is around the bottom, and another double row about midway up the basket. The cover also has a double row of cowis. The basket has a solid ash handle, about 1/2" wide. The inside rim of basket shows a single row of purple dyed ash.
