Souvenir license plate. The plate is red-white-and-blue striped with an image of a waving United States flag on the left. At the top, within the red stripe, is the label, "WASHINGTON, D.C." In the center in raised blue letters are the initials, "RES". At the bottom on the blue stripe are the white words, "U.S.A. PRESIDENTIAL INAUGURATION 1981".

Context

Owned by Ralph E. Stafford (RES) of Wallingford, Vermont. The plates were produced to commemorate the inauguration of Ronald Reagan.
