Description

Decorative plate printed with the image of a building in blue. The building has a peaked roof and four columns along the front of a covered porch. Beneath the image is the blue inscription, "Town Hall, Pomfret, Vermton / 200th Charter Anniversary". The rim is molded into the shape of grapes and berries. The reverse is printed with the inscription, "This commemorative plate was especially designed in connection with the 200th anniversary of the granting of Pomfret's charter by Governor Benning Wentworth of the New Hampshire Grants, July 8, 1761."
