The ribbon is printed in gold with the inscription, "OLD HOME WEEK / STOWE, VERMONT AUG. 16-23, 1903 / BREATHES THERE A MAN WITH SOUL SO DEAD, WHO NEVER TO HIMSELF HATH SAID, 'THIS IS MY OWN, MY NATIVE LAND.'"
