Description

Round white button with attached green silk ribbon. The button is printed with an image of a large, neoclassical building and the inscription, "SOLDIER'S MEMORIAL BUILDING STOWE, VT." The ribbon is printed in gold with the inscription, "OLD HOME WEEK / STOWE, VERMONT AUG. 16-23, 1903 / BREATHES THERE A MAN WITH SOUL SO DEAD, WHO NEVER TO HIMSELF HATH SAID, 'THIS IS MY OWN, MY NATIVE LAND.'" The back of the ribbon has a paper label with a long advertisement for the manufacturer.
