Ground stone gouge made of black chert. The surface is completely ground and polished, and there are grinding marks still visible. The distal end is ground to a sharp blade edge. There is a groove that runs the full length of the body, becoming more constricted and rounded at the proximal end and flaring outward at the distal end.Context
