Paper currency note. It is printed with a repeating border that reads, "The United States of NORTH AMERICA," around the edges. In the center is a circular logo with the words "AUT MORS AUT VITA DECORA." around an illustration of a boar. There is also the inscription, "FOUR DOLLARS. THE Bearer is entitled to receive Four Spanish milled Dollars, or an equal Sum in Gold or Silver, according to a Resolution of Congress of the 14th January, 1779. FOUR DOLLARS." It is signed "F. Swaine". The back is printed with the words, "Printed by HALL and SELLERS. 1779. FOUR DOLLARS.," a central illustration of leaves, and a floral scrollwork border.Acquisition
