Description

Wooden token printed with red ink. One side is printed with the the inscription, "WATERBURY, VT. June 30th thru July 6th" around the edge, and images of four buildings above a central banner and flooded building in water below the banner. The banner reads, "WATERBURY, VERMONT BICENTENNIAL". The other side of the token is printed with the inscription, "WOODEN NICKEL GOOD IN TRADE AT ANY COOPERATING BUSINESS OR REDEEMABLE AT FACE VALUE AT BICENTENNIAL HEADQUARTERS ON OR BEFORE JULY 3, 1963 FACE 5c VALUE".
