Saber and scabbard. There is a tassel attached to the guard of the sword, and the the blade is engraved with the inscription, "From the Sheffield Friends of Capt. B.R. Jenne In token of their regard, August, 1862. Brevet Major, March 13, 1865. Battles: Lee Mills, Va. Apr. 16, 1862; Yorktown Va., Apr. 18 1862; Williamsburg, Va., May 5, 1862; Golding's Farm, Va., June 28, 1862; Savages Station, Va., June 29, 1862; Fredericksburg, Va, Dec. 11 & 15, 1862; Marie's Heights, Va., May , 1863; Salem Heights, Va., May 2, 1863' Gettysburg, Pa., July 2 & 3, 1863; Funkstown, Ms., July 9 & 10, 1863."
