Scale model of a Napoleonic coach built by donor's father Ray Wood in 1932. Winner for Vermont of the Fisher Body Craftsman's Guild Contest.
Coach is blue/black with gold trim and red-spoked wheels. Driver's seat is dusty blue velvet with red velvet trim. Roof of coach is black and has gold scallop trim with eagles in each corner.
Doors on each side open, revealing a cream-colored velvet interior, upholstered bench seats and cream silk valances across window tops. Pull-out step is hidden inside doors on each side.Context
