Blue grosgrain ribbon attached to a bronze medal. The medal consists of two parts: a top bar and a medallion. The bar is molded to the shape of a spread eagle standing on a shield. Beneath it are the words, "ASSISTANT SERGEANT AT ARMS" within a rectangle. Hanging from the bar by a chain is a round medallion over a fasces. At the center of the medallion is the cupola of the capital building in Cleveland, Ohio, and the the inscription, "REPUBLICAN NATIONAL CONVETION / CLEVELAND, OHIO, 1924".Context
