Description

Gold pocket watch. The outside of the watch is engraved with a radial grid pattern with a shield in the center. The inside cover of the watch is engraved, "Presented to BRIG. GENERAL GEO. J. STANNARD by his Friend W.C.M. March 26th, 1864". The face has Roman numerals and an inset second counter over the 6. The interior back cover (over the works) is marked, "Vacheron & Contantin GENEVA Timekeeper".
