Round wooden disk ("wooden nickel") printed on one side with the inscription, "VERMONT BICENTENNIAL CELEBRATION Rockingham, Vt. July 15-17, 1877". The other side is printed with an outline of the map of Vermont beneath a flying flag on a pole that reads "LIBERTY" beneath a crescent moon. The inscription "VERMONT STATE BICENTENNIAL VERMONT" is around the edge.
