Description

Small wooden ballot box. The box consists of two parts: a four-sided base and a slide-out top (cracked). One side of the base of the shorter than the rest, and the top slides through the gap and into a groove cut into the interior of the remaining three sides. There is a slot toward one side of the top piece, and a thumb indentation for sliding the lid open toward the other side of the top piece. The bottom is inked with the label, "L. D. Hill 1860".
