Set of pencil sketches titled "Personalities" by William Morris Hunt. Each sketch is on a small scrap of paper or card stock that has yellowed significantly with age. The first sketch (a) is an older woman in profile wearing a collared button-down coat and a floppy cap around her head. The back of the sketch reads "Wm M Hunt 1839" in pencil. The second page (b) has four sketches glued to it: the top one is a dog with medium-length dark and light fur, one paw raised and tongue sticking out. Below are two landscapes, one of an arched stone bridge over a waterfall with a framed pencil line around it, noted "Falls + Bridge" in the lower right, the second of a stone tower surrounded by trees and bushes with "AW Del." (?) in the lower right corner. The final sketch shows a horse's head in profile. The back of the paper matting reads "Wm M Hunt" in pencil.Type of Drawing
