Description

Prize medal showing the Vermont Statehouse. Beneath the Statehouse is a shield with 13 stars on it, topped with an additional star, and flanked by the dates 1791 and 1941. The inscription, "SESQUICENTENNIAL OF THE STATEHOOD OF VERMONT" rings the edge. The other side of the medal has the inscription, "AWARDED BY THE VERMONT HISTORICAL SOCIETY" inside a laurel wreath.
