Pink, thin-walled plastic capsule. One end has a silver-toned metal screw top.

Context

A draft number was placed inside the capsule, which was then used for drawing the Second National Lottery on July 17, 1941 to determine the order in which Vermont men would be selected for service during World War II under the Selective Service Act of 1940. The vessel from which it was drawn was called the "Gold Fish Bowl". This capsule held ticket number S-560.
