Description

Dark green quilted nylon uniform coat. The "puffy" coat consists of a show layer of nylon, a nylon lining, and an internal layer of batting. The coat secures up the center front with a zipper, hidden beneath a placket that secures with 5 buttons (now removed) and has two large patch pockets at the front hips. There is a black faux-fur collar and black epaulets with yellow piping around the edges. There is a plastic name badge attached to the right breast that reads, "LINDNER". The width of the coat at the hip can be expanded with side zippers that span from the hemline to the waist. There are two patches on each sleeve: a curved green and yellow bar that reads, "AUXILIARY", and the Vermont state seal with the inscription, "VERMONT STATE POLICE".

Context

Worn by Brian Lindner of Waterbury, Vermont, as a Vermont State Police Auxiliary Trooper.
