Cut nail with half of the head broken off. There is residue of white tape on side. There is white paint on top of head.

Context

Taken from the Cadwell House in Montpelier, Vermont. The Cadwell House stood on Main Street at the site of the current Blanchard Block. Both Lafayette and James Monroe were entertained there.
