Description

Black riding habit for a paper doll. The bodice is styled like a double-breasted men's suit jacket, with a white shirt front and bowtie at the neck. The sleeves are long and tightly fitted, and the hands are covered with yellow gloves. The sidesaddle skirt is draped up on the left, and one hand is holder a riding crop. The back has the penciled initials, "C.M.B." It is printed with the words, "The Boston Sunday Herald Issued a Model Figure As a Supplement on March 24, And has and will issue for an indefinite period a costume the size of this one, which will be in the very latest style, and when cut out will exactly fit the model figure. (A duplicate of the model figure and the dresses already issued will be mailed to any address on receipt of four cents each in stamps.) Order The Boston Sunday Herald At Once."
