Description

Round hatbox covered in blue wallpaper. Inside is a fragment of the same wallpaper sample with the handwritten note: "The 'Bonnet Box' paper found by LAK [Louise Andrews Kent] about 1937. Wallpaper from hall of Samuel Dwight Hollister House, Marshfield, about 1855. Covered with hideous brown and gold about 1890." A sample of the brown & gold paper is inside.
