Wooden book stand with three legs. The legs are plainly formed, with rounded feet. The center post is turned and inscribed with a ring about halfway up. The top of the stand is a rectangle tilted at a 45° angle. At the bottom edge is a wooden protrusion for holding a book, now mostly broken off. There is a small, round disk attached with a metal rod to the right side of the stand for holding a candle.
