Description

Blue wool ROTC uniform pants. The pants are accented on the sides with a stripe of white canvas appliqued onto the side seams. There are two side pockets and two back pockets. There are two white plastic buttons on the inside of the waistband on either side of the back seam. The pants secure with a center front fly, held with four black buttons. The waistband has belt loops. On the underside of the shallow right front pocket is a label with the printed inscription, "Sigmund Eisner Co. Uniforms and Clothing RED BANK, N. J." The bottom half of the label has the handwritten inscription, "Webster O. Krupp #132 W32 H1153".

Context

Worn by a student in ROTC at the University of Vermont in Burlington, Vermont. UVM's ROTC program was founded in 1913 as the Student's Army Training Course.
