Description

Cut tissue sewing pattern. The pattern is folded into an envelope addressed to "Mrs. A. P. George / East-Calais, Vermont." and return marked for Taplin & Co. in Montpelier, Vermont. The pattern comes with an explanatory page printed with sewing instructions and an illustration of the garment ("Boys' Double-Breasted Sack Coat"). The label "Duane's Double-Breasted R[illeg]" is written on the envelope in pencil. The group was tied together with a strip of white cotton.
