Description

Ceramic jug with a design of two dancing boys in blackface. The jug has a white body and brown top, and it seals with a cork topped with a black plastic lid. The design is applied to the main body of the jug and consists of two male figures wearing green tail coats, yellow pants, and bow ties. They are each kicking their right legs high into the air. They both have blond hair and are wearing black face paint except around the eyes and mouth. They are surrounded by simplistic stars, and are shown above a stage reading, "UVM KAKEWALK". Beneath the design in a script font are the words, "Kappa Sigma '65".

Context

UVM Kakewalk was a popular annual fraternity fundraising event in which participants dressed and performed in blackface.
