Large commemorative medal. One side of the medal shows a large eagle, a cannon, and two coats of arms with the inscription, "WASHINGTON AMHERST BURGOYNE ALLEN SCHUYLER BROWN PUTNAM KNOX ROGERS CHAMPLAIN MONTCALM" around the edge. The other side shows a man in 18th-century clothing holding a map beside a row of cannons with the inscription "FORT TICONDEROGA BICENTENNIAL 1755-1955" at the top and "MICHEL MARQUIS de CHARTIER de LOTBINIERE" at the bottom.Context
