Description

Paper envelope full of tangled fibers and insect cocoon. A paper note is attached to the front that reads, "Injured cocoons of Silk Worms, picked apart to be used for weaving with other material. The worms were raised and silk prepared by Mrs. L.M. Flint at Norwich, VT in 1837."
