Description

Tissue packet of silk fibers. A paper note stitched to the tissue reads, "Silk just as it is reeled from the cocoons of the silk worm at least 50 cocoons are used to make one thread, after the end is found by a little picking it will reel down to the mouth of the worm inside. Mrs. L.M. Flint."
